April 6 was our launch day, and we shipped a lot. Custom domains, a complete billing system, email integration, and project boards — all live on day one. Here is everything that went live.
Custom Domains
Every paid workspace can now connect a custom domain for email. The setup includes:
- DNS verification — Add a single TXT record to prove domain ownership. NoHeck validates automatically and shows verification status in real time
- Automatic DKIM signing — NoHeck generates RSA-2048 DKIM keys for every domain. The public key is published via DNS, and every outgoing email is cryptographically signed. No manual key generation required
- SPF alignment — SPF records are configured as part of the domain setup, ensuring proper sender authentication
- Multi-domain support — Business plans support 3 domains; Enterprise unlimited
Domain setup typically takes under 10 minutes. DNS propagation depends on your registrar, but most domains verify within a few hours.
Billing and Plans
We launched a complete self-service billing system with four tiers:
- Free — Messaging for up to 5 users, 1 custom domain, email add-on $4/mailbox/mo
- Startup ($12/user/mo) — Unlimited members, email add-on, 30-day trial
- Business ($30/user/mo) — Advanced features, unlimited domains, audit logs, unlimited members, 30-day trial
- Enterprise (contact us) — SSO, SCIM, unlimited domains, dedicated infrastructure
Every plan includes RBAC (Owner, Admin, Moderator, Member, Guest roles), channel management, and file sharing.
Additional billing features:
- Self-service upgrade/downgrade — Switch plans instantly from Workspace Settings
- PDF invoice generation — Every payment generates a downloadable PDF invoice
- PKR currency support — Billing in Pakistani Rupees for local teams, alongside USD
- Prorated billing — Plan changes are prorated automatically, no double-charging
Email Integration
Custom domain email is now fully operational. Here is what shipped:
- SES registration — Every workspace email domain is registered with Amazon SES for reliable deliverability
- Provisioning agent — An automated system that handles mailbox creation, DNS record management, and SES configuration without manual intervention
- Welcome emails — New workspace members receive a branded welcome email with setup instructions
- Mailbox management — Workspace admins can create, disable, and manage mailboxes from a unified admin panel
Email is tightly integrated with the rest of the workspace. You can reference email conversations in channels, and notifications are unified across messaging and email.

Project Boards
Boards launched as generally available on day one:
- Kanban view — Drag-and-drop cards across columns. Customize column names, colors, and WIP limits
- Agile view — Sprint-based board with backlog, in-progress, and done lanes. Track velocity and burndown
- Card details — Rich descriptions, checklists, due dates, assignees, and labels on every card
- Board templates — Pre-built templates for common workflows (product development, marketing campaigns, client projects)
Boards are connected to your messaging channels. Create a card from a message, or link a board to a channel for automatic updates.

- Docs — Collaborative documents inside the workspace. Write, share, and link to conversations
- Search — Unified search across messages, email, boards, and (eventually) docs
