Yes — messaging is free for up to 5 users, forever. Channels, DMs, threads, reactions, and search are all included at no cost. You can also add a mailbox on Free for $4/mo.

Upgrade to Startup when you need work email on your custom domain, unlimited users, or more than 1 board. Move to Business when you need unlimited boards, 100 GB workspace storage, and advanced admin controls.

Yes. You can upgrade anytime. Upgrades between Startup and Business are prorated — you’re credited for unused days on your old plan. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

Annual billing saves ~17% on Startup ($120/user/year) and Business ($300/user/year). Pay annually and skip the monthly renewal.

Startup and Business include a 30-day free trial. A card is required to start, but you won’t be charged until the trial ends. Cancel before the trial expires and you pay nothing.

Email mailboxes are a separate add-on: $4/mailbox/month on every plan, including Free. You only pay for mailboxes you create. There’s no included mailbox count — you start at zero and add as needed.

Yes. Email mailboxes are available on every plan including Free. You’ll go through a quick checkout to set up billing before your first mailbox is created.

Each mailbox includes 20 GB of storage, unlimited aliases, DKIM signing on your custom domain, email signatures, and web-based access via the NoHeck email client.

Each mailbox supports unlimited aliases — additional addresses (e.g. support@, hello@) that deliver to the same inbox. Aliases do not count as separate mailboxes.

Custom domains are free and unlimited on all plans. Verify your domain in workspace settings and get DKIM, SPF, and DMARC records to complete setup.
